We are a Google 5-Star repair and restoration business with specialized focus on guitars and basses. Like you, we’re players and collectors, too. We totally understand the importance of your instruments. We’re devoted to your needs. Hundreds of custom setups, electronics repairs, bridge and tailpiece restorations, fretwork and custom parts later, have been made for hundreds of clients and different applications. We also build custom parts. Mostly by hand. We know the details are everything. Having it be exactly as you need it to sound, play and look, is our only priority. If you have a new idea to add to your instrument that you have to have, we’ll make it or find it and install it. Like a kill-switch, customized nut, vintage case or a bridge that no one else has.
“Speed” is not just in our logo. It’s a critical part of what we’re responsibility. We spend time with you and your instrument when you’re in the workshop. No rush. Getting the work right matters. It’ll never just be a drop-off. We want you to describe it, and often play it, so we fully understand your instrument, and you. We don’t delay or stack up your project beyond what was promised.
We landed in Oyster Bay for good reasons. First, it’s set in a stunning location with easy access for those coming from the east or west. NYC is close, especially by train, which is a 5- minute walk from our workshop. The coffee in town is good, as are the restaurants. And, Billy Joel’s former motorcycle gallery is a block away. Very cool.
Posted on Eric AndersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chris and Zack are both extremely knowledgeable and talented a luthier. Zack was able to fix my sons Gibson SG bass after it took a header at at Rock Fantasy Camp same day while we waited. He even had a spare part that normally would have to be ordered. Thank you again. We'll be seeing you again soon.Posted on SyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Zach is the man! Brought him a Taylor 214 with a noisy pick up that needed to be fixed, and he was quick, thorough and transparent with everything that needed to be done. THE place to go for all your guitar maintenance needsPosted on M BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently took in three vintage guitars to the shop for set-ups and repairs. Each guitar was a bit unique, but Chris and Zack knocked it out of the park. Not only did they do a superb job at fixing and setting up the guitars, they really took into consideration the style of music I play, how I like to play it, and how fast I needed it. Entire process was smooth and professional. Most importantly, within 30 seconds of talking to the guys, their passion and love for music instantly comes across. Will be going back.Load more
