The workshop specializes in guitar and bass repairs and restorations. Typically, these projects need custom parts too which creates a new aesthetic and inspiration for the artist. They’re handmade and beautiful, but never lose the vintage vibe that drives Vintage Classic Instruments. The fully built-out workshop, with a combination of old-world tools like hand drills, chisels, specialty hammers and buffing wheels, also has the latest technologies. A CNC, multiple 3D printers, a variety of spraying devices, and specialized tools for specific applications all whir daily with guitars and basses in need of adjustment or new lives. Each client’s needs and guitars are unique. And, no two guitarists play the same way.  The workshop is 90 minutes from NYC, the Hamptons and Montauk.
